Block themes are the newer way WordPress themes are built. Every part of the page, including the header and footer, is made of blocks you can edit.
What changes for you
You edit your whole site in one place: Appearance, then Editor. No separate menus, widgets or customizer.
Why they’re usually faster
Block themes load only the styles each page needs, and don’t depend on heavy page builder plugins.
